A Collaborative Civic Process
Chicago Lights Institute approaches community development as a collaborative civic process rooted in shared ownership, participatory engagement, and cross-sector cooperation.
CLI believes sustainable civic culture is strengthened when municipalities, residents, educators, businesses, artists, faith communities, civic organizations, and public institutions contribute together toward the shared well-being of the community.
Through initiatives such as Bolingbrook: Where Love Builds the Future, CLI seeks to cultivate collaborative pathways through which communities themselves actively participate in shaping the social psychology, civic identity, and cultural health of everyday public life.
